Terms of use
These terms apply to I Need It Back (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them.
What we provide
We provide general educational information about consumer dispute options in the United States, plus paid letter templates and preparation materials filled in with the details you provide. We are not a law firm or your attorney. We do not provide legal advice or representation, and using the site or contacting support does not create an attorney-client relationship. We do not send letters, contact businesses, submit disputes or file court documents for you.
Information, not an assessment of your case
The options shown are selected using your answers and general rules. They do not determine your rights, eligibility, the merits of a claim or the best action for you. Our materials may be incomplete, out of date or unsuitable for your situation. Court preparation materials are not official court forms or a determination that you can or should file a claim. A licensed attorney in the relevant jurisdiction can advise you about your specific situation.
No guarantee of a refund or other outcome
Buying or using a pack does not guarantee a reply, a refund from a business, a successful payment dispute, acceptance of a filing, a court decision in your favor or payment of a judgment. We do not verify whether a business owes you money. Businesses, payment providers, regulators and courts make their own decisions.
Dates and deadlines
Any timing shown is general information or an illustrative estimate, not a calculation of the deadline that applies to you. Confirm applicable requirements and dates directly with your card issuer, bank, payment app, marketplace or court, or with a licensed attorney. A reply-by date you put in a letter is your requested response date, not a court or statutory deadline. Do not assume that using this service or waiting for a reply pauses or extends another deadline.
AI-assisted drafts
Parts of a letter may be drafted using AI from your description. AI and templates can contain mistakes or omit important information. The letter is not reviewed by an attorney as part of your purchase. Review and correct every statement, amount, date and request before using it.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information and review every letter before you send it.
- Only send letters whose contents are true. Don't use our templates to make false claims, harass anyone or demand money you are not entitled to.
- You decide whether and how to send a letter, and you're responsible for what you send.
Payments and refunds
The letter pack costs $19 and the optional small-claims preparation packet costs $9, charged once through Stripe. There's no subscription. These charges are for the digital materials, not legal services or recovery of your money. If you're not happy, email help@ineeditback.com within 14 days of purchase for a full refund of your purchase from us, no questions asked. This policy concerns what you pay us; it does not promise that the business in your dispute will refund you.
Availability
The information is intended for United States consumer disputes and does not cover every state or local rule. Service interruptions and errors can occur. Save copies of materials you want to keep; the app clears stored answers and letter details as described in our privacy notice.
Your consumer rights
The limits described here do not exclude rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our no-guarantee statement about dispute outcomes does not cancel our stated purchase-refund policy.
